    At the airport take the S-Bahn (No. 5, departs every 30 mins - duration 12 mins) or the airport tansfer bus (departures every 20/30 minutes, travel time approx. 25 mins) - or a taxi, to reach the train station. Intercity trains (ICE10, IC32) from Hannover to Bielefeld leave at least every hour (journey takes approx. 50 mins, it is a direct connection).
  • Düsseldorf (approx. 190 km from Bielefeld) 
    From Düsseldorf airport there are direct connections to Bielefeld. The Intercity trains (ICE10, IC32) leave leave at least every hour (duration approx. 100 mins).
  • Frankfurt/Main (approx. 320 km from Bielefeld)

The entrance to the underground Stadtbahn station is located at the station forecourt, across the street.

At the underground Stadtbahn station, head to track 2 and take Line 4 (red Line) in the direction Lohmannshof. After approx. 7 mins you will arrive at Bielefeld University.
