York Schröder: Meetings
Here is a list of some conferences and workshops I have been involved in as an organizer.
Final Colloquium
Final Colloquium, Sept 12 - 14, 2012
International Research Training Group, GRK 881,
Paris - Bielefeld - Helsinki
at University of Bielefeld, Germany
The International Research Training Group (IRTG) GRK 881
"Quantum Fields and Strongly Interacting Matter" is approaching the
end of full nine years of funding by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG.
On this occasion we organize the meeting which builds on the research
fields of the IRTG, ranging from lattice gauge theory and advanced
analytical methods to applications in heavy ion physics and cosmology,
but is not meant to be retrospective
Frontiers in perturbative QFT
International Workshop, Sept 10 - 12, 2012
University of Bielefeld, Germany
Topics include:
Multiloop techniques;
Symbolic computation;
Numerical computation;
Selected applications in
Particle Phenomenology, Heavy ion Physics and Cosmology.
Geniale: Science Festival Bielefeld
Outreach activity, August 26 - September 3, 2011
University of Bielefeld, Germany
Including the "Long Night of Science"
Poster.
View, listen, touch, be amazed -- for the "Long Night of Science"
the doors of Bielefeld University will be open wide,
to reveal inside views of the fascinating world of research.
Scientists take you on a tour through their laboratories,
explain phenomena ranging from natural to social science,
and inspire you with unusual methods of knowledge transfer.

EU TMR
Network Meeting, 5 - 8 April 2001
University of Helsinki, Finland
This meeting of the EU network
Finite Temperature Phase Transitions in Particle Physics,
shortened as Phase Transitions in Hot Matter,
