Heavy ion collisions at the LHC and at RHIC  (seminar)
(Gruppenseminare "Schwerionenphysik bei LHC und RHIC"
&  "Besprechung neuerer Arbeiten zur relativistischen Schwerionenphysik")

The purpose of the seminar is to discuss recent results in collisions of heavy nuclei at ultra-relativistic energies or related theoretical topics, triggered by the experimental results at the CERN Large Hadron Collider and the Brookhaven Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider.

Winter 2011   First experimental results from Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC   (eKVV)
In November 2010, lead ions collided for the first time at the LHC. We shall devote the seminar to examining the results, starting from the experimental findings and discussing their physical interpretations and/or implications.
