I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Univesity of Tartu, Estonia. My research is focused on using alternative geometries such as teleparallel geometry to understand gravity and applying this to develop new modified theories of gravity.
In the past I have been a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Theoretical Physics of the São Paulo State University. I have obtained my doctoral degree at the Bielefeld University, where I have studied the non-conformal holographic models of QCD applied to quark-gluon plasma physics. My master degree is from the Institute for Theoretical Physics, Charles University in Prague, where I have studied higher dimensional black holes in general relativity.
You can find more details in my CV, and my profile on INSPIRE.
Homeworks and some solutions prepared for students of courses that I have tutored:
General Theory of Relativity, spring 2011.
Quantum Mechanics, autumn 2012.
